"Fences" Act 2, Scene 1

Today in Multicultural Literature, we read act two,  scene one of "Fences." The climax has been reached at this point of the play. Bono convinces Troy to confess his affair to Rose, which Troy does do. We learn from Troy's confession that he impregnated Alberta and Rose is very unhappy with Troy's actions. Rose opens up and reveals her emotions for Troy and the struggles she had to endure to remain with Troy, such as not following her dreams. At the end of the scene, Troy holds onto Rose's shoulder tightly to the point that it hurts Rose. Cory comes outside and punches Troy onto the ground to prevent Troy from holding onto Rose. Later in class we worked on three dilemma questions. I am doing good.
