Prompt: Write about something that you can't stop thinking about.

I can’t stop thinking about what my life will be like in the following year. I will be turning 18 and attending university, hopefully. Once I graduate in spring, I will have greater independence and less restrictions from my parents as they expect me to move out of the house as soon as I turn 18 in July. In a way, I will have more time to do what I desire. On the other hand, grater responsibilities will be given to me as I’m on my own when it comes to my education after this year. It is slightly frightening to think about in all honesty.

Today in Multicultural Literature, we started class by learning about multiple choice test-taking strategies. The main strategy we learned was process of elimination where you determine that three answers are completely wrong, one answer is slightly correct, and another answer is the most correct. We put this strategy to practice by taking a pop quiz about The Color Purple. Afterwards, we continued reading through the novel. I am doing fine.
